South Wales Area Adviser – Educational lead
Salary: £21,745 – £24,432 pro rata (depending on qualifications and experience)
18 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Adviser in the South Wales area. The post holder will support and advise families and individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus through telephone contact, personal visits, group activities and liaison with statutory bodies and professionals.
The successful applicant will lead on educational issues within the ASBAH Cymru team, and should demonstrate knowledge and experience of special educational needs teaching and support, and should hold a qualification in teaching or equivalent learning or education specialisms.
Previous work with people with physical disabilities or learning difficulties will be an advantage. Use of a car is essential.
