ASBAH National Events March & April 2010

ASBAH Cymru (The Association of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus) is encouraging adults living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus in Wales to attend 2 national events organised later this year.
‘Ageing disgracefully’ and ‘Looking good, feeling great’ will provide opportunities for individuals to meet others and explore a variety of issues related to the conditions through discussion, activities and information from key speakers.
Both events run from a Friday to a Sunday.
Ageing Disgracefully
Friday 26 March 2010 – Sunday 28 March 2010, Sheffield
Weekend rate: £95 (accommodation, meals and workshops)
Saturday attendance only: £35
Looking good, feeling great
Friday 23 April 2010 – Sunday 25 April 2010, Brighton
Weekend rate: £110 (accommodation, meals and workshops)
Saturday attendance only: £35
Both events are organised by ASBAH’s ‘Your Voice’ group, which has been set up specifically to encourage adults living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus to actively contribute to key policy initiatives, provide opportunities for meeting others and experience new activities, life skill training – all with an element of fun and sociability.
