Location:     Barod Office – To be confirmed. Flexibility to attend all operational sites and partner agency offices is essential.

Type:            Part-time

Hours:          22.5 hours per week (including some weekend/evening work during busy periods, eg. bids, events)

Salary:          £32,899 – £38,826 pro rata

Start:             TBC

Duration:      Permanent, in line with funding.

Barod are looking to recruit an Operations Manager, who will provide support to the Director of Operations in the delivery of service contracts and achievement for all projects and services.

The post holder will also support the CEO, Director of Corporate Services and Service Managers to ensure that high quality services are delivered in line within organisational objectives and service specifications.

The post holder will deputise for the Director of Operations at meetings and various other groups as and when appropriate.In collaboration with the CEO, Directors and Service Managers, the post holder will also assist and support service review and improvement.

The post holder will respond to Human Resource, Estates and Service Manager queries as required.

The post holder will also assist the Director of Corporate Services to manage leases and other agreements for premises and other facilities, ensuring they operate within Barod’s Health & Safety Policy, Data Protection legislation and environmental management systems.

The post holder will assist Human Resources in relation to strategic staffing matters, including recruitment, wellbeing and investigations.

The post holder will also assist with recruitment, reviewing job descriptions and role planning.

The post holder will respond to a variety of safeguarding queries including reviews of non-fatal and fatal episodes, serious case reviews and report reading.

The post holder will also monitor compliance with Organisational Policies.

The post holder will assist with bid writing, as part of a multi-disciplinary bid writing team.

The post holder will also promote and fully embrace Barod values and vision, in all of the work undertaken.
