Business in the Community Launches ProHelp in West Wales

Business in the Community has announced that it will launch its South and West Wales ProHelp network in November 2009 across Pembrokeshire, Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot and Ceredigion.

bitc_300Established in 1989, ProHelp is a UK network of over 600 professionals, from large corporates to SMEs, providing advice and support free of charge to community and voluntary organisations in their local area.

Last year, ProHelp supported over 2,200 community groups, including schools, voluntary organisations and community groups, with £1.4m of free professional advice.

The ProHelp network is managed by Business in the Community, a business led movement that inspires, engages, supports and challenges companies on responsible business through campaigns and initiatives.

Phil Jardine, Partner, Morgan Cole and Chair of the South and West Wales ProHelp network said: “ProHelp is an excellent initiative which brings obvious benefits to the community group, as well as enabling the business to motivate and develop its staff, while at the same time make a real difference to the local community.”

Busnes yn y Gymuned yn Lansio ProHelp yng Ngorllewin Cymru

Mae Busnes yn y Gymuned wedi cyhoeddi y bydd yn lansio’r rhwydwaith ProHelp ar gyfer De a Gorllewin Cymru yn Nhachwedd, ar draws Sir Benfro, Abertawe, Sir Gâr, Castell-nedd a Phort Talbot a Cheredigion.

bitc_300Sefydlwyd ProHelp yn 1989, ac mae’n rhwydwaith o dros 600 o weithwyr proffesiynol yn y Deyrnas Unedig, o gwmnïau mawr i fusnesau bach a chanolig, ac mae’n cynnig cyngor a chymorth rhad ac am ddim i fudiadau cymunedol a gwirfoddol yn eu hardal leol.

Y llynedd, fe gefnogodd ProHelp dros 2,200 o grwpiau cymunedol, gan gynnwys ysgolion, mudiadau gwirfoddol a grwpiau cymunedol, gyda £1.4m o gyngor proffesiynol rhad ac am ddim.
