Over the last 2 years, the Ceredigion Carers Unit has been funded through the West Wales Care Partnership to develop and adapt a suite of training sessions for unpaid Carers. The training is intended to help unpaid Carers to improve their resilience and wellbeing. The training sessions are now ready to be delivered across the Hywel Dda region.

These sessions can be delivered in a variety of settings, both online and face-to-face. They are designed for adult and young Carers of age 8 and upwards, in the following categories:

  • Young Carers (aged 08 – 13)
  • Young Carers (aged 14 – 17)
  • Adult Carers in employment
  • Adult Carers in the community

The facilitator training, which is open to all professionals and volunteers who work with unpaid Young and Adult Carers in the Hywel Dda region, allows you to:

  • Experience the training for yourself
  • Gain an understanding of the theory behind the training
  • Join a team of facilitators whose focus is to improve the wellbeing and resilience of Carers across the region

If you  are interested in taking part in the facilitator training, please confirm your interest by emailing me, by the 5 March. Or, if you require any further information about the training please feel free to contact me at the same email address.
