Carmarthenshire Community Halls website directory

[lang_en]CAVS is working in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council to set up a website directory of village and community halls in the county.

We’re aiming for an easily accessible directory which includes the following features:
- a location map with directions
- contact details for bookings
- the accessibility of each venue
- the resources and equipment available in the venues, and
- regular events taking place in the halls.
Website visitors will be able to find a hall from a dropdown list and also on a map of the county.
The website will be an effective way to promote the facilities and activities available in a community. Many communities and halls already have their own websites, and we will signpost visitors to these community websites.
For the community itself, or for people who have recently moved into the area, the website will give information about the wealth of social, health and wellbeing, and learning activities for all ages that are taking place in towns and villages throughout the county. And for those wishing to start up an activity group, or hold a meeting, training workshop or conference, knowing what venues and resources are available will help them with finding the right location for their events.

Ar gyfer y gymuned ei hun, neu i bobl sydd newydd symud i’r ardal, fe fydd y wefan yn rhoi gwybodaeth am y cyfoeth o weithgareddau cymdeithasol, iechyd a lles, a dysgu sy’n cymryd lle mewn trefi a phentrefi ledled y sir, i bobl o bob oed. Ac i’r rheiny sydd am ddechrau grŵp gweithgaredd, neu gynnal cyfarfod, gweithdy hyfforddiant neu gynhadledd, fe fydd gwybodaeth am y lleoliadau a’r adnoddau sydd ar gael yn eu helpu i ddod o hyd i’r lleoliad iawn ar gyfer eu digwyddiadau.
