The next meeting of the Carmarthenshire Voluntary Sector Forum will be held on Thursday the 15th July 2010 from 9.30am – 1.00pm at The Mount, Carmarthen.

• 9.30 Registration
• 9.40 Carmarthenshire Voluntary Sector Forum: An opportunity to discuss issues that are important to all voluntary groups and organisations in Carmarthenshire, including an opportunity to raise issues to be taken to the Compact Liaison Panel and the Local Service Board.
• 10.10 Community Development Fund
• 10.20 Giving Sir Grant Scheme
• 10.30 Community Safety Partnership: Kate Thomas will give un update from the Community Safety Partnership as well as information about the Community Cohesion Fund.
• 11.00 Refreshments & Networking: Come to meet other organisations working in the Carmarthenshire area.
• 11.30 Coalfields Regeneration Trust: Sian Sykes will give an overview about the current programmes the trust are running.
• 12.00 Carmarthenshire Lottery: Michelle Rees from the Carmarthenshire Lottery will give an overview of the project, which is able to provide loan funding.
• 12.20 WREN: Marion Lowther will give an update about WREN funding.
• 12.40 Information Exchange: An opportunity for individual groups to raise issues of importance to them.

Please note that from 1.00 to 1.30pm there will be a short meeting for groups based or working in the Amman and Gwendraeth Valleys to look at electing representatives to sit on the Western Valleys Amman and Gwendraeth Forum.

The Carmarthenshire Voluntary Sector Forum is an opportunity to discuss issues that are important to every voluntary group and organisation in Carmarthenshire, it is an opportunity for you to have your say about the issues which directly affect you. If you would like to highlight any issues that you would like to see discussed at a future meeting of the forum, or have a suggestion about a funder you would like to see give a presentation, please contact Marie Mitchell on the number below.
