Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to be abolished – 14/02/11

The DWP have now confirmed that DLA is to be abolished and replaced by a new benefit called Personal Independence Payment (PIP) in 2013/14. All existing DLA claimants will be reassessed for PIP once it is introduced.
