The Police and Crime Plan sets out the priorities of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys for his term of office
The meeting is an excellent opportunity for you to play an important part in shaping future policing and community safety priorities for Carmarthenshire. There will be short presentations followed by an opportunity for you to raise any specific issues or concerns you may have in your community.
In each area there will be an independent Police and Crime Panel comprising members nominated by local authorities in that area and also including at least two independent members.
The role and powers of the PCCs, how they will impact community safety partnerships and what the implications will be for the sector.
‘Safer Future Communities’ is a coalition aiming to support third sector organisations working in the area of community safety to influence the Police and Crime Commissioners’ priorities and other new local commissioning arrangements in order to access funding, service delivery and partnership opportunities.
Dyfed Powys Police is working in partnership with other agencies and our community safety partnerships to tackle the rising problem of cold calling and internet fraud.
