To start looking at setting up a possible Credit Union for Rural Carmarthenshire a group of interested volunteers needs to be formed. Those interested will form a Study Group and commence researching the development.

For the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to consider registering a new Credit Union they must see 1%  of the population ~ 1200 names for Carmarthenshire ~ signing a pledge form to confirm that there is a demand for the new entity and also that the Study Group can demonstrate Financial and management skills.
