The project aims to tackle the issue of digital exclusion among citizens of Carmarthenshire, employing the use of digital media technologies, training courses and workshops, volunteer opportunities and an online portal. This will enable support for digitally excluded communities and individuals to develop new skills and confidence around multimedia technologies, including video, television, radio and online platforms.
The CVC Media Digital Engagement Project is a partnership project funded by the Welsh Government, through Communities 2.0, and developed by Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and Llanelli’s Multicultural Network, among others.
