DDAS Active Treatment Worker-Carmarthenshire

Location:      Llanelli, covering Carmarthenshire and occasional travel to Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire will be expected.

Type:             Full time

Hours:          37 hours per week. Evening and weekend work will be required and therefore candidates are required to be flexible.

Salary:          £22,137 – £25,156 per annum

Start:             TBC

Duration:      Permanent, in line with funding. Current funding has been granted until May 2022.

Barod’s DDAS Adult Drugs and Alcohol Service is seeking to recruit an Active Treatment Worker to join the team in Carmarthenshire. The post holder will be responsible for delivering evidence-based and manualised brief interventions and semi-structured interventions both in group-work settings and on a one-to-one basis to substance users and concerned others. The post holder will also conduct high level assessments including risk assessments.
