Tender: Domiciliary Care Providers, Swansea

The City and County of Swansea invites applications from DOMICILIARY CARE PROVIDERS registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (or equivalent) who wish to join our list of Accredited Providers for the provision of domiciliary care services for older people.
Successful applicants who demonstrate their ability to meet the accreditation criteria will be short listed and a limited number will be invited to join the list of Accredited Providers for the provision of domiciliary care services for older people.
Successful applicants will need to demonstrate that they:
• Can provide reliable, quality assured home based support services on a twenty four hour 365 days a year basis to older people.
• directly employ trained, skilled staff who are service-user focused.
• Are registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales to provide domiciliary care to older people
• Have a proven track record of providing domiciliary care to older people in their own home with a minimum of 18 months experience.
• Are capable of meeting the standards in Pre-Placement Agreement.
We currently contract on a “spot purchase” basis with no guaranteed hours.
Suitably experienced providers are invited to complete an accreditation pack which along with supporting documentation should be returned by 25 September 2009 to:
