Post:                “Be Positive” Project – Youth Detached/Outreach Worker x 2

Hours:           12 per week over 2 days*

Salary:            £10 per hour

 *This is a fixed Term Post funded until 31st October 2018.

Are you passionate about supporting young people and engaging hard to reach young people from diverse backgrounds?

Are you committed to making sure all young people are able to participate and be included in society regardless of the particular barriers they may face?

With funding from the Office of the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner and supported by Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services (CWVYS), we are embarking on a 1 year pilot project to engage the most vulnerable young people in Carmarthen and surrounding areas through detached/outreach youth work methods..

We’re looking for two experienced youth work professionals with the enthusiasm and practical skills to help us to reduce the exploitation of young people and make a positive impact on youth crime figures.

This post has been funded by the Office of the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner.
