Eiriol – Shared Reading Groups

Eiriol – Shared Reading Groups

Do you like company, a good chat with a cuppa, reading aloud or being read to?     if so …

Why not come along to one of our free and friendly reading groups?  We will meet every week for six weeks, spending about 40mins to an hour to read and chat over a different text each time. You are welcome to sit, read (or just listen), and chat about the reading. Refreshments will be available.

Testimonials from participants show shared reading can help with

  • Reducing isolation
  • Improving self-confidence
  • Improving vocabulary and self-expression
  • Improving self-esteem
  • Improving social skills
  • Improving self-understanding and empathy
  • Broadening horizons

The next sessions will start on Wednesday 13th June 2018 at:

Kidwelly Community Hub from 10 – 11.30am or  Trimsaran Leisure Centre 1 – 2.30pm

Places are limited so if you would like to join us please contact Eiriol on 01267 231122; eiriol@eiriol.org.uk
We look forward to meeting you at one of our sessions.
