The Engagement Gateway Pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) briefing sessions

About the Gateway

The Gateway is a scheme under the European Union’s Convergence programme, which is the successor to Objective 1.

It aims to reduce economic inactivity in Wales by investing in organisations that improve the employability of disadvantaged people furthest from the labour market.

Is it a grant fund?

No. The Gateway is a scheme that will offer contracts of up to £150,000 over a maximum two-year period.

Contracts will require organisations to deliver positive outcomes to specific target groups and/or specific geographical areas. Any organisation will be able to bid for contracts through a tendering process.

Why attend this briefing session?

Only organisations on WCVA’s approved supplier list will be eligible to tender for the Gateway contracts. To join the approved supplier list, organisations must complete and submit a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ).

A PQQ round will be opening early November, and the deadline for the submission of PQQs will be 29 January 2010 at 1pm.

This briefing session will provide advice and guidance on the PQQ process.

Carmarthenshire Session: 10th November, 2pm – 4 pm, The Mount, 18 Queen Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1JT
