Family Housing Association was established in 1975 as a non-profit making organisation and is an innovative, dynamic and people orientated organisation. It provides high quality, affordable homes and services and now manages over 2,800 properties throughout the Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Neath Port Talbot areas providing homes to meet the differing housing needs of a wide variety of people.

Accountant: 35 Hours, Salary-£34,672 (From 1/4/20)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a positive individual to join us as an Accountant. You will work collaboratively with other departments, tenants and our partners in a positive and proactive manner, building relationships to create sustainable communities. You will be committed to working within our values and to contributing to our continuous improvement as a team and as an Association.

Our ideal candidate will be focussed and possess excellent customer care skills. Working in a busy office environment it is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills, the ability to work accurately and with attention to detail and have a flexible and adaptable approach to their workload. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word are also essential.

A full professional qualification recognised by Central Council of Accounting Bodies (CCAB) e.g.  ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience and 5 years’ general accounting experience is essential. Knowledge of the housing sector would be advantageous.
