CAVS funding and development staff provide a free service helping you to find sources of funding appropriate to your group's activities.
Using the extensive resources of Funderfinder and Grantfinder, and online databases we can search a wide range of charitable and grant-making trusts. In addition, the staff hold current information about local and national government grants, and directories and guides to other funding sources.
Having identified appropriate funding sources, the staff can help you through the application process - obtaining and completing application forms, and where necessary liaising with funders.
About Grantfinder
Since 1985, Grantfinder has been and still remains the leading source in the UK of accurate and comprehensive information on the full range of UK and EU financial support provision, including grants, subsidies, loans, venture funding and other incentives, available to all types of business, from the sole trader to the multinational company; to voluntary and community groups; to charities and charitable arms; to each and every aspect and every level of the public sector.

About Funderfinder
FunderFinder prompts grant-seekers to describe themselves and the work they are seeking to fund in terms which can be matched with the criteria used by funders. Coded into Funderfinder is information about the criteria of over 4,500 funders. These are the trusts and foundations about which there is published information and which make grants to charities and voluntary and community groups.
Funderfinder retrieves funders that match the search profile entered by the grant-seeker, excludes those that are inappropriate, ranks the funders found in best match order and allows the user to consider 'partial matches'.
A search produces a list of funders which can be saved, exported and printed out. Funderfinder gives details of where to find further information about each funder found, but doesn't provide addresses or policy guidelines.
