GwirVol Grantiau Dan Arweiniad Pobl Ifanc ~ Youth Led Grants
Mae cyfanswm o £4000 ar gael i grwpiau i gefnogi nifer o wahanol brosiectau a gweithgareddau gwirfoddoli bychain, o dan arweiniad ac yn cael eu cynnal gan bobl ifanc, rhwng 16 – 25 oed. Bydd ceisiadau i fyny at uchafswm o £1000 yn cael eu hystyried am arian anailadroddol (unwaith ac am byth).
Dyddiad cau ar gyfer ceisiadau: Dydd Mercher Medi 9fed 2009
A total of £4000 is available for groups to support a range of small volunteering projects and activities, led and carried out by young people, between 16 – 25 year olds. Requests for up to a maximum of £1000 will be considered for nonrecurring (one off) funding.

CAVS Community Development Fund Small Grants Scheme 2009/10
CAVS has been successful in securing funding for 2009/10 from the National Assembly for Wales under the Community Facilities and Activities (CFAP) programme to distribute, by way of grants, a sum of approximately £90,000 to voluntary groups in Carmarthenshire.
This grant scheme is designed to provide not-for-profit voluntary and community groups with a new source of funding to develop community facilities and activities.
The scheme aims to promote the regeneration of communities in Carmarthenshire by tackling the following priorities:
Projects could include the following:
- creating or refurbishing facilities;
- improving the built or natural environment;
- encouraging healthy and active lifestyles;
- promoting activities to increase social inclusion and equality;
- training programmes;
- community business support and strengthening cultural and linguistic identity.
Grants can be provided for capital costs only.
The closing date for applications is Friday 29th May 2009.

CAVS Community Development Fund Small Grants Scheme 2008/09
A total of almost £45,000 has recently been distributed to 24 successful applicants to the Community Development Fund. CAVS received 65 applications and of the successful applicants, four groups received the maximum grant available of £4,000.

These groups were Llangadog Community Centre, Llanmiloe Community Hall, Llanybydder Family Centre and Pencader Family Centre.
Supported projects included the refurbishment of a community centre, for the purchase of defibrillator, equipment for a youth centre, the purchase of new heaters for a community hall and equipment for a “Green Gym” which will provide health and social benefits for volunteers.
