Workshop on the Future of Cheques 15/07/10
Posted on Tuesday, June 22, 2010
The Payments Council are currently consulting with charities and voluntary organisations on the implications for them of their proposals to manage the decline of cheque use. As charities and voluntary organisations remain fairly heavy users of cheques (both in terms of payments and receipts) they are keen to hear the views of this sector. They are arranging a series of workshops with one taking place in Cardiff on 15 July.
Separate work is being undertaken regarding the needs of different groups many voluntary orgs represent/work with (e.g. older people; disabled people etc.) so this series of workshops is largely focussing on business needs/issues. As with all of these things places are limited to up to 40 representatives for each event.

There is also an online mechanism for registering interest to participate by following clicking here.
Please contact Helen Doyle if you have any specific queries regarding these workshops, email helen.doyle@ukpayments.org.uk, phone 020 3217 8219.
