Independent Community Mental Health Advocate (Non-Statutory) – Contract 12 months, ongoing subject to further funding.
Accountable to: AWW-EGC-EGC Management Committee
Responsible to: Chief Officer
Unqualified – £23,625 per annum full time equivalent (FTE)
Qualified – £26,203 per annum FTE (qualified with Independent Advocacy Qualification at Diploma Level)
Hours: 22 hours per week – opportunity to extend hours subject to funding.

Summary of Role:
Based in Carmarthen (based mainly from home during the Covid-19 pandemic but expected to do face-to-face advocacy work with clients) you will be a key member of AWW-EGC’s independent community mental health advocacy service for adults provided across Carmarthenshire. You will be working to establish drop-in advocacy services at venues in Ammanford and Llanelli.
