An exciting opportunity exists with MDF – The Bipolar Organisation …
MDF wish to appoint a Link worker to work 21 hours per week in the West Wales area for the new Bipolar Link Project, an innovative project funded by the Lottery.
The salary is circa £20,000 with 25 days annual leave pro rata. MDF match a 5% contribution to your pension and a salary raise of £500 on successful completion of the probationary period.
The post is subject to an enhanced CRB check.

The aim of the post is to support and supervise volunteers who have a diagnosis of Bipolar to mentor newly diagnosed people in Mental Health Settings. The role also involves building links in the community with GP practices voluntary and statutory sector mental health organisations.
Experience and knowledge of the mental health sector, good communication skills and previous experience of working with people with mental health issues is essential.
Home based working is negotiable with regular contact with the Newport office. Applicants must be able to attend regular meetings in Newport.
