JOB TITLE: Office and Finance Manager

SALARY:  £28,000 £30,000

BENEFITS: Employer’s pension contribution

HOURS: 39 hours over 5 days (please note you may be required to occasionally work evenings to assist at events and board meetings)

HOLIDAYS: 25 plus bank holidays (PRO RATA)

CONTRACT: Fixed term for 12 months (extension dependent on funding)

REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer

LOCATION: Llanelli


Notice period 4 weeks (1 week during probationary period)


To provide professional, efficient, and effective administrative and financial support to Llanelli Mind with the smooth running and recording of our financial obligations as a registered Charity and Company limited by guarantee. Whilst supporting the charity team in the management and administration of its finance, fundraising and  HR functions.

To help coordinate finance and fundraising activities in conjunction with the CEO and Senior Management team.

Essential to have Time management & Problem-solving skills, you will need to possess excellent time management, organisational and communication skills to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities for the different commissioned services. They will need to be practical, proactive, calm under pressure and able to use their initiative

Essential to possess Information Technology skills, you will need strong IT skills and be competent in the use of most Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher. The work will require you to maintain up to date and accurate electronic files on funders and prospects. This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be exhaustive.
