CAVS is working with Carmarthenshire County Council and the WDA to develop the Mount site in Carmarthen, at the top of jail hill, into a voluntary action centre for the county.

The old Mount building was demolished in January 2006, and redevelopment will begin when necessary funding for the project - likely to be in excess of £1m - is secured.

The county voluntary sector have been consulted throughout the process to date, and there has been overwhelming support for the success of the project.
