UN Older Persons Day Conference – Promoting Active and Healthy Ageing, 30/09/10
Temple of Health and Peace, Cardiff, 12.00pm – 5.30pm
How we manage care of older people and promote healthy ageing in achanging and ageing world is a great challenge to health and social care professionals as well as touching everyone’s lives in the general public.
At this conference delegates will have the opportunity for networking with staff working with older people, and to contribute to the discussions and debates on innovative ways to promote active and healthy ageing, and highlighting best practice and current policy initiatives.
The Conference offers the opportunity to bring together the community of researchers and academics in ageing issues; Health and social care practitioners; Policy makers.

The Public Lecture is vital for anyone who works or has contact with older people. It will be valuable for service providers, family carers, older people their family and friends.
