Small steps to healthSmall Steps to Health

In response to the Health Challenge Wales Initiative we would like to invite all voluntary sector health and social care organisations to lead the way in a campaign entitled Small Steps to Health.

The aim will be to pledge to make just one small change within your group. For example you may opt to use caffeine free beverages or not to serve biscuits at meetings. Alternatively maybe once a month you would enjoy a short walk before a meeting.  Larger organisations may decide upon a little healthy competition and chose to organise an annual event such as a rounders or cricket game.

The idea is to find something that is relevant to your group and that you can enjoy. You can get as creative as you want. We’d welcome any pledge that will help make some improvement in the physical and/or mental health of your colleagues and/or clients.

If you would like to be a part of this campaign, please complete this application form(Word 160 KB), giving details of the ‘step’ you propose to take.

Have fun and remember … it’s never too late to start making a difference!
