Salary Scale: 5/6 £19,621 – £23,708, Plus Employer’s Pension & Travel Expenses

planedPLANED’s role is to engage the people of Pembrokeshire in improving their quality of life – culturally, socially, environmentally and economically.

The key aim of PLANED is to encourage a community culture of enterprise, based on the local people themselves, their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm – helping them to safeguard their future through a local integrated approach to development in the most sustainable way.

A further aim is to play a vital role in empowering and enabling local communities to be full and equal partners in the development of their area, influencing local and national strategies and through accessing EU programmes, Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) initiatives and other opportunities.

Base: PLANED Offices (currently Narberth) Hours: Minimum 37½ hours to include evening and weekend work.

Contract: These posts are part funded through the EU Rural Development Plan and the Welsh Assembly Government August 2008 – January 2011

Purpose of Post: As a key member of the PLANED team you will be required to work across Pembrokeshire with Community Forums, groups, statutory agencies, individuals, businesses and networks to identify and develop opportunities which contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for local people and communities in the county.
