Play Right is seeking an experienced bus driver who is interested in driving a Playbus to communities in Neath Port Talbot and willing to undertake training to be a Playworker.
The play team, on the Playbus – of which you would be one – will engage with 5 – 15 year olds (primarily 8-12 years old) to provide a range of play types to support freely chosen play.
You will need to gain an awareness of development through play and an understanding of the biological need for taking risks while playing.
You will be required to work in play spaces engaging and playing with the elements of wind, rain, fire and earth. You may also be required to facilitate play within the limited space of the playbus and should therefore possess the skills necessary to respond to and adapt children’s play to enable it to continue in this space.
If you are patient, sensitive to need and have experience of children and young people this could be the job for you!!
