Regional Funding Fair 08/06/10

Following on from the success of the first Regional Funding Fair in 2008 the local authority and voluntary sector partnership covering the south west Wales region is delighted to announce the return of this fantastic event in 2010.

Charities, community groups and voluntary organisations are a vital part of the physical, social and economical regeneration of our region. The partnership behind the event recognises the invaluable work of third sector organisations and is hosting this free event to provide groups with information and advice so they can plan for the future.

The second South West Wales Regional Funding Fair is an opportunity for community and voluntary groups to find out about the support and opportunities available throughout the south west region via the EU Convergence Programme and benefit from free information and advice from national and regional funders. First hand experiences of individuals and groups who have been involved in successful projects from across the region will be discussed and seminars based on the theme of sustainability will be running throughout the day.

The Regional Funding Fair will take place on Tuesday 8th June 2010 at the new Ffos Las Racecourse in Carmarthenshire. This free event will start at 10am and run through to 4.30pm. The event is part funded by the EU Convergence Programme via the Welsh Assembly Government.

Please register for the Regional Funding Fair by Friday 4th June 2010. Once you have registered, an e-ticket will be sent to you, please print this ticket for entry to the Fair. There will be an opportunity to register on the day however priority will be given to groups or individuals that have pre booked.
