The Rural Development Plan 2014-2020: Next steps

On 31 January 2013 the Welsh Government launched a consultation on The Common Agricultural Policy Reform: Rural Development Plan 2014-2020: Next Steps. It forms part of the Deputy Minister’s on-going conversation on CAP Reform with stakeholders across rural Wales.

The conversation document comprises of five sections:

  • The Programme Intervention Logic Framework
  • The Proposed Interventions
  • The Cross-cutting Themes
  • The Delivery Framework
  • Consultation Questions.

WCVA will submit a response to the consultation, and would welcome feedback from third sector organisations in relation to the specific questions posed in the consultation response form that can be found on page 50 of the document.

We would particularly welcome case studies or examples (real and potential) that demonstrate how greater integration could be achieved between the Rural Development Plan (EAFRD/EFF) and ERDF and ESF. Please send any comments you may wish to be included in WCVA’s response by Friday 12 April to the third sector European team (3-SET).
