RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performance of the scheme, supervision of peer mentor coordinators and up to 6 Volunteer Peer Mentors.
DURATION: 4 years

PURPOSE OF POST: To co-ordinate project, provide line management and co-ordination of peer mentor coordinators, and volunteers mentoring substance misusers throughout treatment and towards economic independence.
The Welsh Assembly Government is sponsoring a European Social Fund peer mentoring scheme for substance misusers in Carmarthenshire.
This scheme will seek to harness local resources and establish a large volunteer mentoring scheme to drastically increase the level of support available to substance misusers throughout Carmarthenshire and help them to move towards economic independence.
