Cynllun Estyn Llaw
Estyn Llaw was established in 2000 to support voluntary and community organisations in the development of bilingualism and to promote volunteering amongst Welsh speakers.
Estyn Llaw can provide advice, support and training for voluntary and community organisations to enable them to increase their use of Welsh. The Scheme is also responsible for raising awareness amongst Welsh speakers of formal volunteering opportunities in organisations where there is a shortage of bilingual volunteers.
Estyn Llaw’s work forms part of a broader agenda to ensure that the public is offered an effective Welsh-language choice in every aspect of life in Wales.
The Scheme is sponsored by public bodies and receives a grant from the Welsh Assembly Government via the Welsh Language Board. It is managed by Iaith Cyf.
