CAVS Membership for just £20 per year!
Membership of CAVS is open to all voluntary and community groups who are based or provide services in Carmarthenshire.
CAVS is Carmarthenshire’s County Voluntary Council, the umbrella body for the voluntary sector. We provide help with volunteer recruitment and training, funding advice, setting up and running groups, networking and partnership working.

- Discounts on meeting room hire (e.g. full day hire of £60 is reduced to £50 for members)
- Discounts on office services, printing and copying
- Discounts on CAVS fee paying training courses
- One free advert on CAVS Community Radio station

- Free promotional space in the Mount reception area in a weekly rota to showcase your group
- Voting rights at CAVS’ Annual General Meeting

If you would like to join CAVS to show your support, but feel you can’t afford the membership fee, and/or do not need to access any of the membership benefits, we welcome you as a free ‘Registered’ Member.
Your membership is valuable to CAVS because it will help us to:
- provide information and support to the voluntary and community sector, not-for-profit groups and social enterprises in Carmarthenshire
- recruit volunteers for Carmarthenshire groups
- promote volunteering and the work of the voluntary sector
- provide training, and networking and information workshops
- support groups to be represented in local strategy planning and decision-making.
