Carmarthenshire County Council wishes to invite service providers to join a select list for the provision of Employment and other Support Services for working-aged adults (16-64 yrs) who are economically inactive in Carmarthenshire. This will include all kinds of support services associated with securing and retaining employment, such as training, awareness raising, on the job coaching, preparing for job interviews and presentations and others.
The Council wishes to establish a pan-disability employment and related support service for all participants residing in Carmarthenshire who present severe and additional needs relating to having mental health needs, physical disabilities / sensory impairments, learning disabilities and substance misuse problems. This will be developed to form part of the Carmarthenshire COASTAL (Creating Opportunities And Skills Teams Alliance) Programme 2009/13. The provision will be for a fixed term until 31st May 2012 with the possibility of an extension for a further 1.5 years.
