Time-limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate: 10.8.2009 – 12:00 noon.
This contract notice is specifically for the provision of services for individuals who are considered “Care leavers” aged 16 plus (participants), that are not in education, employment or training, who reside within the Convergence Areas (Isle of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent and Torfaen).
BIG anticipates awarding approximately four contracts to Service Providers who have the specialist skills, knowledge and experience to engage with participants that are or have been in care, and reside within the Convergence Area.
Service Providers will have the ability to offer individually tailored packages of support that will enable participants to progress into education, training, volunteering or employment.
