Turning Point ~ Service Administrator 05/02/10

Location: Carmarthenshire
Hours: 37 per week, Mondays to Fridays, days
Salary: £12,600 – £16,800 per annum
Duration: Fixed term – Sept 2011
Closing Date: 5/02/10
We are looking for a dynamic, multi-talented individual to provide administration support for our service. You will have strong IT skills (including experience in Microsoft Word and Excel) and in addition you will have an excellent range of communication skills and experience in dealing with a diverse range of people. Most importantly you will have the ability to prioritise your workload and to work on your own initiative.
You will support the administrative function of three different services, Catalyst which is a substance misuse service which works with people who are affected by or using drugs, a peer mentoring substance misuse service and strengthening families.
The Strengthening Families Programme
Carmarthenshire County Council has been successful in being selected as one of 6 local authorities to deliver the Strengthening Families Programme. The programme is a universal prevention intervention designed for delivery to all families with children aged between 10 and 14. It is designed to prevent young people from misusing alcohol and drugs by strengthening protective factors and reducing key risk factors associated with substance misuse
