UnLtd Sport Relief Awards

Posted on Monday, November 30, 2009

unltd-sportreliefUnLtd Sport Relief Awards are a UK wide funding programme for 11-21 year olds, who are prepared to go the extra mile and use their passion for sport and arts to bring respect and understanding to their communities by setting up their own projects.

UnLtd Sport Relief Awards are funded by Comic Relief and provide opportunities for young people to bring communities together, to help promote understanding and solve problems through sport, arts and recreational activities.

There are three types of awards:

  • Try It – up to £1,000 (for 11-21): An UnLtd Sport Relief ‘Try It’ Award can give you support and cash to use sport, arts or recreational activities to overcome an issue in your community and bring people together through a short project or one off event – to get an idea off the ground.
  • Shape It – up to £5,000 (for 11-21): The ‘Shape It’ Award can help you to develop your idea further.
  • Do It – up to £10,000 (for 18-21): With the UnLtd Sport Relief ‘Do It’ Award, you can apply for up to £10,000 to grow your idea into a project that will continue to have an impact after your award. The £10,000 can also be used towards your living costs.
