Carmarthenshire Sure Start

The Sure Start Partnership believe that families are central to the success of the Sure Start Plan, and capacity building with families and within communities is seen as crucial if the Plan is to be sustainable. The younger members of our community deserve the best start in life, within a safe environment, in order to maximise their life opportunities.

The Plan aims to provide a network which all parents in need of support can link into, across the county with due regard to those areas whose needs have been identified to require additional resources. The Plan also acknowledges that children with disabilities or developmental delay, require extra support in their early years that is additional to what is available for all children.
