By registering with the volunteer centre, you let them know what your interests and experience are, and the types of volunteering work you would like to take part in. The volunteering officers can then match you with the volunteering opportunities that would best suit you, that are currently available.

There are always several hundred interesting and rewarding volunteering vacancies that need to be filled across the wide range of voluntary and community groups across the county – as well as those across the globe if you fancy work with more of an international flavour!

Voluntary groups can benefit from all of the volunteer centre’s free recruitment services and resources by registering. The registration form asks for details about the organisation, and full details of the volunteer roles that the organisation is looking to fill. The volunteer centre then matches the volunteering opportunities to volunteer vacancies. The group can also get advice about policies that need to be in place, good practice, and training and developing volunteers.

Membership of CVON is open to all organisations responsible for managing or organising volunteers in Carmarthenshire. It’s a network for sharing good practice and providing support.
