West Wales BAME forum
4th December, 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Llanelli Library, Vaughan St, Llanelli SA15 3AS
The forum welcomes people who want to work toward greater racial equality in the region, most especially ethnic minority people.* The forum will work to influence politicians and decision makers to create policies and practices which better reflect the needs of BAME people in West Wales. This forum meets at least once every three months and we welcome newcomers. We particularly welcome community members and residents. Chisomo will be hosting this forum with her colleague Lucy Luca who is working on the EU settlement scheme.
What we will do:
- Build on getting to know each other & promote our work.
- Discuss the outcomes from hate crime awareness week.
- Set out clear priorities for improving the lives of BAME people in West Wales.
- Open space for talking about issues that affect you.
The agenda will be circulated a week before the meeting. Please contact chisomo@eyst.org.uk.
* Ethnic minority includes Black, Asian and other ethnic minority groups, including European Nationals and migrants
