Leonard Cheshire, Scope and Legacy have developed a brand new employment programme called Working on Wellbeing or also known as the WOW team, funded by the Welsh government.

First set of Starting Line* sessions

Date –  Tuesday 10th August

Time –  11:00- 13:00

Type of session – Every Tuesday and Thursday for seven weeks

Where –  Digitally (face to face delivery dependent on numbers)

Who – Charlie and Becky will be delivering

Working On Wellbeing (WOW Project)

Funded by; Welsh Government in partnership with Scope and Legacy Int.

Working on Wellbeing is an employment training and support programme for disabled people in Wales. We will work with you to develop a programme around your career goals and how you can achieve them, whether that be employment, training, education or volunteering.  

Eligibility:

  • Pan – disability
  • 16+
  • Unemployed
  • Lives in Wales
 

*Starting Line

This is a programme for someone at the beginning of an employment journey.

Duration ; 7 weeks with two sessions a week, with the opportunity to move over to the kickstart programme.

Types of sessions ; One to one meetings and group training sessions required

(Can be a mix of face to face and digital delivery dependant on participants needs)

 

Kickstart

This is a programme for more experienced people looking to get into employment.

Duration ; Up to six months of support with, meeting fortnightly unless more support is needed

Types of sessions ; One to one meetings and group training sessions are optional

(Can be a mix of face to face and digital delivery dependent on participants needs)
